About Henry

“Henry the Truck” (In His Own Words)

I’m Henry, a 1950 panel truck with, well, probably more stories than miles! Denny bought me for $35 back in 1960, and I’ve been his sidekick ever since. Been through a lot (road trips, family stuff, hauling) just about everything you can imagine. Motors, brakes, wheels, yeah, I’ve seen it all. And somehow, still running!

Some highlights from my life with Denny:

  • Ten motors over forty years. Crazy, huh?
  • Road trips across California, Oregon, Montana… you name it
  • Family memories with Denny’s kids and grandkids
  • Hauling cars, furniture, gargoyles, firewood… seriously, everything!
  • Laughs, tears, life lessons, and lots of bumps along the way

We’ve been through a lot, Denny and me. More than man and machine, I guess. Every mile, every little adventure, every repair… it’s all part of our story. And, yeah, there’s plenty more to come.
